As far as the hotel goes, it needs a massive upgrade. It physically felt unsafe. The staff was amazing. (The staff I ran into) I was only at the hotel for an hour before making the decision to leave due to the unsafe feeling I had. Ok, so. Here goes the one massive negative I have. I left two full boxes of 1 gallon and sandwich size zip loc bags in the room by mistake. I called a couple hours later and they checked and said they didn’t see them and they were gone. So that to me means this. I don’t think they would have checked the room if someone was staying in there. That would be an invasion of privacy. If this is the case this means whomever checked the room staff wise after I left to ensure cleanliness took the boxes either for personal use or threw them away, rather than reaching out to me to say “hey you left these”. Yes I can blame myself for leaving them. I won’t blame myself for theft and dishonesty. So to that. I will never promote for someone to stay at this hotel.

First time staying here, was super impressed with how comfortable the suites were. Plenty of space and the some. Those ladies with the braces (both of them) super dope, cordial, respectful, and polite on top of being the pretty girls of the hotel lol. These ladies are amazing! I didn’t get your names, my bad, but you know who you are. The cleaning staff are super attentive and do their part to keep up with the high level of service so that’s appreciated. Three things I noticed, 1) make sure you close your door by pulling it, they are not soft closed doors like other hotels. 2) carpet on the second floor needs to be pulled, looks terrible! 3) sticky floors, my tile area in the room and in lobby area. All these three callouts are fixable! Walmart is across the street to rack up on things you may need. Restaurants in any directing you go. This is a Valdi approved joint!

Alex, who worked up front was extended helpful and knowledgeable and funny as well. Her smile is a great start to your stay here. Breakfast was very good and the area was so clean. Every staff member we interacted with was kind and helpful. Will stay every time we come back here. There is so noticeable wear and tear in the hallways from guests probably running into the walls but other than that it’s very clean and up to date.

I will say the breakfast left me lacking and a few room outlets weren't functional but we made it work. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL, from every level of area in this hotel, I felt like they really cared about me feeling at home while being away from home. This was during what felt like the winter apocalypse, and at a time when I'm monitoring how long I need to stay here and how will I get back home safely, the staff kept me informed daily on road conditions, amenities within the hotel and when I could extend my stay even though they were sold out! EVERYONE was GREAT but I had multiple conversations with Alex and Bianca who made me feel safe during uncertainty, like they cared about my families ability to be okay during this storm. It meant so much at the time and if I could list everyone who worked during my stay by name I would because they all were AMAZING! Tell Them THANKS!! :)

Home2 Suites by Hilton offers a step up from your average hotel, especially for extended stays. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, featuring a full-size refrigerator, a comfortable couch, and a cozy bed. However, the pillows are quite flat—this may not be an issue if you prefer that style, but it’s worth giving a heads up. Danisha is truly the best! From the moment we asked for assistance, she went out of her way to make us feel welcome and cared for. She was incredibly sweet, attentive, and thoughtful—ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Her kindness and professionalism made a lasting impression, and her friendly attitude added a personal touch that made all the difference. We felt genuinely valued and supported thanks to her. Please note that you do have to specifically request “full service” for housekeeping. If you don’t, housekeeping will only clean the bathroom and take out the trash, even though there’s a notice in the room that says services are provided every other day and lists things like “Make bed” and “Refresh kitchen.” During our first day, our bed wasn’t made and the kitchen wasn’t touched until we questioned the front desk and were informed that we needed to request full service—which seems inconsistent with the posted notice. I’ve included a picture of the notice for reference. It may be worth Home2’s time to clarify or update the policy or signage to avoid confusion. The pool is small but pleasant. That said, it has an overly strong chlorine smell and burned my eyes, and the ladder on the deep end is missing steps and appears to be digging into the pool wall—a maintenance issue that should be addressed. Still, it’s a nice amenity for guests to enjoy. Breakfast is advertised throughout the hotel as having “over 400 combinations,” which sounds impressive at first. However, based on basic math, this likely means there are only about nine core items. In reality, the variety is fine, low quality but fine, however the claim seems more like marketing hype than an accurate reflection of the spread. The showers are modern and clean, though the water pressure is on the lighter side. Also, conditioner is not provided—again, not a problem for everyone, but something to be aware of. The gym is not well-maintained but is well-stocked for a hotel gym. We appreciated having it available. One of the best features of this location is its proximity to dining and shopping options. Walmart is directly across the street, and Chick-fil-A is just across the parking lot. If you’re up for a short walk (10–15 minutes), several other restaurants and stores are easily accessible. Though negative, I wanted to share some concerns about the breakfast service on the morning of Tuesday, June 24, for management and potential guests. On that morning the breakfast attendant on duty appeared short-tempered and was noticeably rude in her interactions with guests. At one point, she snapped at a toddler who had reached for a handful of plastic-wrapped spoons—even as the child’s father was actively addressing the situation. Later, she became upset with a young girl for not using tongs at the food station and snapped the tongs near the child’s face. However, I had observed that the tongs were not available at the time, as the attendant had temporarily removed them after someone nearly dropped them. Rather than showing understanding or calmly offering assistance, the attendant reacted with frustration—despite the confusion being the result of her own actions. This created an uncomfortable atmosphere and was not a pleasant way to begin the day as guests. I hope this feedback can be used constructively to improve the overall guest experience. Overall, Home2 Suites is a comfortable and convenient choice, particularly for longer stays. A few minor improvements could make the experience even better, but it already offers good value for the amenities provided.

Rooms could use an update. Staff was friendly and courteous. Only inconvenience was having all girls soccer team on the same floor. Made for a noisy night.

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It was the first time that we stayed at this hotel and we would definitely visit again. We had some hiccups along our road trip before arriving at the hotel and it was lovely to be greeted with a smile and OUTSTANDING customer service by Alex when we made it in. She set the tone for our visit at the hotel. Housekeeping was great, breakfast was good, and the hotel is close to many stores.
